For those unfamiliar with the clubs around Ireland,  and Internationally,  the Open Coffee Club was started to “encourage entrepreneurs, developers and investors to organise real-world informal meetups to chat, network and grow”

As we enter 2011, I can not help but to think about what new changes it may bring. 2010 was a year of adversity, growth for some, learning for all, and strengthening for those of us still standing.

We have seen the digital era show it’s might in full force. From digital magazines, ipad apps, to the Nook, Kindle, and Ipad. Printers have attempted to bring the web into the printed product with QR Codes, and becoming more active on social media sites. Printers are no longer just companies that put “ink on paper” and Publishers are no longer people that produce only one marketing tool.

As we continue to strive to integrate all aspects of marketing communications, it leaves me to wonder what could possibly be next? The answer is I have no idea, well I have some idea, but only speculation. Regardless of what comes next, I look forward to embracing those changes, adapting to our ever changing landscape, and becoming the best that I can be.

Let’s look forward to the future with great optimism, excitement, and the readiness to adapt. I know 2010 may have not been the greatest year for Publishers and Printers alike, but through this year we have all gotten stronger and better.

The only for sure thing is that the landscape is going to continue to change, whether you keep up is up to you, but I hope to see you all along side me on this marathon with a smile!

1st is Clear PVC Business Cards,  printed on transparent PVC. (PVN 40)   400

For files that are above 50 MB in size, you should find the FTP file server of the printing and upload your files there. The FTP server allows you to upload large files at very high speeds.

Approve the proof:

After uploading your files, the printing company will send you a pdf proof of your design thru e-mail. Carefully examine the proof before approving it. The proof acts as your final chance to change anything in your design before it is sent to the printer. It is also the last time in which you can check for any errors that you may have missed. Remember that after you approve the proof, the printing company is no longer liable for any mistakes that you may have missed and you will have no choice but to re-print your materials. Checking the proofs thoroughly is a very important task that you should not ignore.

Wait:

After the proofs are submitted and approved. The only thing you need to worry about is telling the printing company where they will deliver your materials. You can specify the exact location of where you want your prints delivered – at home, at the office or directly to your clients…..
